Part-Time Mechanic at The Grounds Guys of Oakville

About the Role:

We are seeking a part-time mechanic to join our team at The Grounds Guys of Oakville in Mississauga, ON. As a mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our landscaping equipment to ensure our team can continue to provide top-notch service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws and blowers.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipment
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Ensure all equipment is in safe and working condition
Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed
Light welding, fabrication
Machine operating

Requirements:

Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably with small engine repair
Knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
